Matka: Matka is a ‘Hindi’ term, which means earthen pot. In the past, such pots were used to draw random numbers. To win the game, you’ve to choose a lucky number.
Single: Single means any digit between 0 to 9 which you choose for betting is known as single.
Jodi: Jodi/ Pair is the combination of two digits between 00 to 99 which involves the Matka.
Panna/ Patti: Another term in the list is Panna/ Patti which involves a three-digit number that comes as the result of betting.
Open results/close results: The matka betting outcomes are categorized into two parts viz the first part known as an open result and the second part is called close result.
SP: SP is an acronym for Single Patti.
DP: DP is an acronym for Double Patti.
TP: TP is an acronym for Triple Patti.
Farak: The difference between the close result and open result is know as Farak. Let's say, if the pair is 27, then the farak is 7-2=5.
Cycle Patti: Cycle Patti is the last two digits of the Patti. For example, if the Patti is 145, then the cycle patti is 45.
Berji: Berji is the last digit of the sum of the last digits of Jodi's result. For example, if the pair is 46, then their sum is 13 and berji is 3.
